Etosha is a huge park surrounding the Etosha Pan which is a dried up lake bed, now  mostly salt.

Our guides and us on the salt pan.

There water holes scattered about, mostly man-made and some natural.  These are  the gathering places for animals and birds.  Our camps had a water hole near our campsite.
